I was ordained an elder in The United Methodist Church in 2007. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources from Virginia Tech in 1986 and my Masters of Divinity from Drew Theological School in 2000. I’ve served churches in New Jersey and West Virginia. I am a native of Virginia, but came to West Virginia just as quickly as I could. I live in a “divided household” as some West Virginians call it. My older daughter, Victoria, is a student at West Virginia University. My younger daughter, Patricia, is a student at Marshall. I am grateful to be serving God with the awesome people of the Canaan UMC!
![]() Grace Churchmouse - Senior Editor - Canaan Chronicle Grace is the senior editor of the Canaan Chronicle newsletter. Published each month on the ministries and other events taking place at Canaan, Grace also publishes an article reporting on the many instances around Canaan and throughout the community where good people are doing good things quietly. They do not seek glory, but Grace believes they deserve a pat on the back. Grace is active in both foreign and local mission work, having traveled to Siberia in Russia and has visited friends around the country that she has met at Canaan UMC.
